Abstract

This talk discusses benchmarking methodology and presents results evaluating YCSB workloads with Apache Accumulo and HBase HBase with HDFS short circuit local reads enabled. The talk will discuss observed performance improvements and the types of workloads which most benefit from enabling HDFS short circuit local reads.
